AFFILIATED SCHOOLS

 

FOR AFFILIATION WITH SND NATIONAL EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP:

  • Dues paid based on size of school professional staff (full-time equivalent; see below)
  • School will schedule an initial presentation for faculty/staff of the new vision and principles for SND Education.
  • Office will work with administration as to how SND Educational Vision & Principles can be active/visible in the school

Benefits of Affiliation

  • SND Education Office Website is available to school(Yearly password given)
    • online news and notes
    • access to prayer services and other resources on SND history, heritage and Educational Vision and Principles.
  • Eligible to give Distinguished Graduate Award
  • Ability to order materials from Office 
  • One yearly presentation on SND Education by Office staff to a group determined by school (faculty or parents or other)
  • Certificate of yearly affiliation for posting
  • Authorization to list: “SND National Education Partnership” with school credentials & memberships
  • Prayers & support of worldwide network of Notre Dame educators and Sisters of Notre Dame

Additional Benefits of Affiliation for additional cost

  • Additional presentations/in-services on SND Educational Vision & Principles for other groups
  • Assistance with board or other school group development and/or evaluation
  • Assistance with administrative personnel search

Expectations of Affiliation:

  • Yearly review/in-service of faculty & staff on SND Educational Vision & Principles 
  • Some type of integration of SND history and/or heritage and educational vision & principles in school documents 
  • Certificate of affiliation posted in a prominent place
  • Visible signs of Sisters of Notre Dame within the school
  • Presentation of the Distinguished Graduate Award is made by a Sister of Notre Dame (one presently at the school or inviting a sister who has ministered at or has some connection to the school) OR use a set script from the Office.
