Sisters of Notre Dame National Education Partnership

The SND National Education Office Advisory Board met in Toledo, OH, for three days in October.  The board confirmed by-laws, reviewed strategic plans and spent a great deal of time planning the SND Education Summit which will take place at the University of Dayton on June 18-20, 2015.  The conference is for SND-sponsored and affiliated school faculty and administrators. The goal of the summit is to preserve our SND Educational Vision and Principles for the future.

The Sisters of Notre Dame, founded in 1850 in Coesfeld Germany, have a rich history of service in a variety of educational ministries. Today they collaborate with lay colleagues in 18 countries on five continents, bringing the Good News and the transformative power of education to new generations.

In the United States, each of the four provinces of the Sisters of Notre Dame sponsors schools and other institutions committed to carrying on the mission of Jesus in a manner relevant to the needs of the times. The Sisters are also active in serving in a variety of ministries and partnering with others for the transformation of individuals and society, making visible the Reign of God.

Schools that have a connection with the Sisters of Notre Dame and wish to continue to share in the SND Educational Vision and Principles are invited to consider joining the National Education Partnership.
